| There are many times in a relationship where you are going to be tired of your boyfriend’s attitude. Guys hate to admit that they are wrong, especially in the heat of the moment. After fighting for hours about how it was his turn to wash the dishes, he apologizes the next day and thinks that everything will be fine. In reality, it is not fine. These small and seemingly insignificant fights will eventually tear our relationship apart. Some couples need to mature while others are doomed to fail. However, if you do not want to fall into this failing category, how are you going to be able to overcome this harsh feeling of resentment from the childish fights that your boyfriend puts you through? The best way is to tell him that you love him. By expressing this loving feeling, your resentment will begin to fade away. Once you are relaxed enough then you can begin to fix the problems in the relationship. The first step after saying “I love you” is to sit down and talk. Men do not like long drawn out conversations. Try to make a short point, let him respond and repeat the process. This should hopefully bring some clarity to why you are having such insignificant fights. Sometimes couples lose touch of reality, become bored or simply do not know how to communicate correctly. If it seems that your boyfriend really isn’t listening, it should not be very surprising. Verbal communication is normally more helpful for women than it is for men. If talking about your problems do not work, then you have to show him what he is missing. This does not mean that you should go out and flirt with his friends or threaten him by leaving but to simply just hold back. Stop answering his phone calls, text messages and emails. Let him seek you out. You can return a call or two, but do not seem overly excited to hear from him, but do not treat him poorly either. You have to be neutral, almost treat him like a friend. Your actions will speak much louder than any words that you can tell him. Sooner or later, he will come around and realize how foolish he has been lately. Once he apologizes, you must accept since this is a big step forward for him. Then start exactly where you began and tell him that you love him.
